The team decided to continue exploring two options, one that followed the BAU envelope structure and the other the trailing edge die-cut. We presented creative mockups with artwork in place, and also identified the location of special effects we wanted to use so the printers could gauge pricing.
After the American Express team selected two structural options, I created a presentation of the assets with photography and content in place, along with proposed effects. Once a final package direction was chosen, I transitioned into full production mode for all the materials. Ultimately, the client was very happy with the final product. They particularly called out the impressive combination of effects and eye-catching photography that was used on the outer envelope.
